In celebration of this year's heritage month, the City of Los Angeles planned a series of events throughout May, including a kickoff celebration with Mayor Karen Bass and City Councilmember's Nithya Raman and John Lee. The MC this year is DJ Puffs. They will also have performances, and a buffet-style of Asian gourmet food will be served by Star chef Katie Chin.

UCI STRESS AND RESILIENCE MEASUREMENT FOR VIETNAMESE AMERICANS (STAR) RESEARCH PROGRAM

UCI STAR research is a community-based and the goal is to develop culturally appropriate surveys to measure stress and resilience in the Vietnamese American community. Participants will complete two online surveys in Vietnamese over two weeks, and the entire process will take approximately 2 hours.
